Chef Tang has gained the certificate of Ramen Master from Yokohama Ramen. He also worked at an authentic Ramen bar in Tokyo in 2012 and 2015 to develop his skills.  

His Ramen is one of the best in UK.

Chef Tang has completed the master training at Royal Tea in China in 2018!

Formerly known as Tangs, Slurp at the Kirk has been serving delicious, authentic Japanese cuisine since 2007. 

You’ll find Slurp at the Kirk in the historic Old Town, and inside, the restaurant is brightly decorated with bold colours and lights. 

Whether you’re a long-term fan of Japanese food or are new to the cuisine, the menu is sure to please with favourites like ramen noodles and gyoza dumplings, 

as well as Slurp at the Kirk specialities like the Bobby roll with homemade teriyaki sauce and locally sourced chicken topped with fried onion.

Guests can enjoy a casual dining experience in an authentic Japanese eatery when they visit Slurp at the Kirk.
